End of the ski season

Well, after a week of skiing in North Conway it looks like the ski season is over. That's ok, I had a great time up there and I am ready to resume the hiking season.

So far my return to work has reminded me why I went on vacation in the first place. The first day consisted of my dispatching and scheduling system being down for the entire day. The result of this is I don't know where I am supposed to go. When people call in to find out why the I didn't show up, the people on the other end can't help them because they can't look anything up. The only thing that helps is if the people call my store directly...then I can get their name and addy and go out.

Only 2 of the 6 people I was supposed to see yesterday were smart enough to do that. Wonderful!

Today, the second full day of work, was nothing but a bunch of botched appointments. And I'm trying to train someone how to do things correctly, I might add. I just put the ball back in the court of the people who caused the problems in the first place...I'm done trying to deflect flak from people who continuously make the same mistake despite us educating them over and over and over. I only have some much patience for stupidity and when it runs out you better hope you aren't the target.

Well, maybe tomorrow will be better.
